Fondos Unidos (United Way), is based all around the United States, with Fondos Unidos being based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. They have received donations such as shoes, solar panels, provisions, as well as rebuilding parks around the city of San Juan.

Fundacion Comunitaria uses the power of sustainability to promote the upkeep of the quality of water on the island, as well as promote the use of renewable energy such as wind and solar power, and improving the economic and housing crisis after Hurricane Maria. They have used $12.5 million in relief funds, but can still use all the help they can get.

Composer of the Broadway Musicals Hamilton and Into the Heights, Lin-Manuel Miranda, who was born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, composed a song in order to raise money for relief efforts after Hurricane Maria. The song Almost Like Praying honors Puerto Rico through a rap that lists all of the municipalities in Puerto Rico. Lin-Manuel collaborated with well known Latino artists and actors such as Luis Fonsi, Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez, Camilla Cabello, Rita Moreno, Marc Anthony, and Gina Rodriguez. All of the proceeds for this song go toward the Hispanic Federation to provide relief from Maria.
